About Coach Anna
My mother was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's and Frontotemporal lobe dementia (FTD) in 2010.
She was 67 years old.
I was 26.
I dropped everything to became her full-time caregiver. I witnessed my world shatter around me. I had nobody to lean on, nobody to turn to. Nobody to coach me.
The years of being her caretaker were fraught with sadness, depression, anxiety, and fear. However, they were also met with humility, compassion, and so much life experience. I learned as much as I could, as fast as I could about how to be impactful, brave, and strong for someone who had given me so much in life.
After caring for my mother for nearly 4 years, my family and I decided to place her in a long-term care home. I then went on to work as an Advocate Engagement Manager for patient pharmaceutical groups and as an Executive Assistant supporting multiple upper level executives in Technology and other industries. I've continued over the past 7 seven years to be my mothers' Power of Attorney, advocate for her, and co-manage her care.

My PASSION is coaching. Specifically, consulting care partners and families of loved ones diagnosed with dementia. Helping YOU navigate the maze and challenges that come with this journey, not only how to provide the best care, but also tools to care for yourself.
I bring together years of hands-on caregiver experience, executive administrative expertise, and certifications in dementia care, life coaching, and yoga, and put my heart and soul into it. It has been the most rewarding career I could have imagined.
I live in Seattle, Washington with my husband, a witty pre-schooler, charming toddler, and cat "Tiko."
